Now. Two things.

1) Does anyone have all the pictures saved of the cast/crew of GQMFs holding up the 'I ♥ ontd_startrek' sign?

I have the ones currently on the user-info, but I'm looking for them all, so I can compile them and get them all on the user-info page, where they deserve to be. If you have them, can you guys post them in comments? Thank you :)

2) Based on discussion with the other mods, and noticing when our moderation queue tends to build up, we have decided that we need another mod. Given that our current mods are a European/East-Coast of the USA split, we've come to the conclusion that we need a mod who is on the West Coast, and active during the 8pm-Midnight PST (and if you stay up late, Midnight-3am would be perfect, too) timeslot.

If you are in said timezone, are 18+, can dedicate a reasonable amount of free-time (it would be helpful if you could moderate posts at least once a day, if not more - basically, the more free-time you have, the better) and would like to apply, please copy/paste and fill in the following.

All mod-application comments will be screened. Everything else, I'll unscreen.



Finally, thank you all for bearing with me. It's been a pretty awful few days, and I hope we're all back on track. I want everything to be happy again, dammit. ;_; I just want to say thank you all for supporting me, and thank you to those people who were willing to discuss with me when they thought I was being out of line. I really appreciate that, and I respect people who are willing to step up and point out why and when I might be misguided. This is a bloody difficult job sometimes, it really is. I'm trying to remember that I can't please everyone, as much as I might want to. In short, I'm still learning, I make mistakes. Bear with me. And thank you all again, sincerely. ♥

Things like a rock from Vulcan, a Starfleet Academy banner, bits from the Jellyfish and the shuttle that took Kirk and McCoy to San Francisco, and a bar stool from the scene where Uhura and Kirk first met.

just thought this is nice to share because it's great that Iran is inspiring people and all these people are coming together for their quest for freedom. I'm sure Iran is having a huge impact on the peoples of the Middle East too, the Arabs primarily.

my phone is pissing me off so much. the backlight wouldn't shut off, even though i had it set to lock/dim at 7 seconds. it would keep coming on the second it dimmed completely. then no one could hear me during a call. verizon sent me a new phone, but nothing got transferred to my new phone, and i really wanted to save all my media :/ now on my new phone, when i go to view a text, it goes right to the chat and i have to hit "options" and then "view" to view one text. i'm so frustrated with it that i'm debating whether i should just not have a phone anymore, oh my god

I got the complete series of Doctor Who today for $240. That's like a saving of nearly $200, ahhhhh, I can't believe I have all four series all to myself.

I was using the Google image search, looking for regeneration pictures, when I noticed a sponsored ad for Amazon. You know, the ones that say you can buy whatever it is you're Googling there. The idea was too funny to me, so I had to take a screen cap.
